Fibre Reinforced Composite Printing
Our 3D printing technologies offer businesses advantages over traditional manufacturing techniques like CNC machining and modular fixturing, by printing parts in carbon fibre that are equal to or better in strength than aluminum, and up to 90% faster and 70% cheaper.
Emona’s 3D printing systems utilize Markforged patented technology, reinforcing nylon with high strength continuous fibres. The system actively switches between two nozzles during a print.
With up to 50 micron resolution layer height, your parts will come out of the printer with a beautiful surface finish approaching the look and feel of injection molding.
Maximum build size is 330mm x 250mm x 200mm
In Process Inspection
Our system also offers in-process inspection for dimensional accuracy, ensuring printed parts are exactly as designed. A laser displacement sensor sensor affixed to the print head will scan parts at any layer designated in order to ensure dimensional accuracy at the most critical tolerances at any point in your print.

Thermoplastics Printing
Emona’s thermoplastics 3D printers utilize Airwolf 3D technology with two 315 degrees C high temperature print heads which can be independently controlled to create material combinations not previously possible such as polycarbonate and ABS hybrid parts.
Our plastics print volume is 58.4 x 48.2 x 48.2cm, with a minimum layer height of 40 microns. We operate an enclosed printer with a heated bed that creates a consistent heat environment for printing large, multi-material high-resolution parts without warpage.
Prior to every 3D print, the four-point print bed leveling system automatically calibrates the print bed ensuring proper initial layer height and orientation, and then actively maintains that leveling throughout the entire print process to create accurate 3D printed parts.
